v8bertha
While stripping out my particularly scanky headlining from me Rangie, I found this sticker on the back Does this mean that Rangies were supplied with mould built into the headlining????? Jen
Judging by the state of yours they do! I can confirm it was disgusting
reads90
Not as bad as under the carpets of 4 doors. it is really common to find loads of wahers. Where they are hanging the doors , and they take any number of washers to get it right and then lob the spares over their shoulders into the car. Then they just lay the carpet down on top of them
Hillbilly Raider
Always thought that that was done to give you the unique "landrover rattle"that drives you mad when you can't find where its coming from?!
v8bertha
Not as bad as under the carpets of 4 doors. Hence the reason I don't have carpets... they're for namby-pamby people!! And IIRC they were mouldy too! Probably had something to do with the lack of floor pans at the time!!
Jen
Think I may have come up with a way of resurrecting the rooflining though... will have a play when I get home (isn't my life exciting! )
VeryDisco
My Disco headlining was rank when I first got it. One of my first lessons was: DO NOT JET WASH DISCOVERY HEADLININGS Unless you like the tented ceiling look. I seem to have "cleaned" the material away from the backing. ooops
