Les Henson Posted October 17, 2005 Share Posted October 17, 2005 Just noticed a crack in the cylinder head on catflap today - from the hotspot on No3 cylinder to the inlet valve, so now I need a replacement head ! Has anyone got one please? N/A and TD heads are the same. It doesn't matter about valves, hotspots, needing a skim, as long as it's not cracked. Turbocharger Posted October 17, 2005 Share Posted October 17, 2005 Les, late NA 2.5 diesel heads are the same as the turbo lumps but the early ones were different - in the late 80s AVL in Austria did a lot of work with Ricardo on the induction system and the later engines breathe much more easily as a result.
