Si,

I have measured the hole spacing on the back plate and the holes are 83mm apart vertically and horizontally which gives a PCD of about 117mm. Is this similar to your mounting bracket.

Phil

Thanks Phil,

I've been working wih a chap to produce something for his Range Rover. He's done most of the work including fabricating a new back plate. Yesterday he phoned to say he was close to fitting it but it requires a fairly different setup altogether. If it works, I'll get a few laser cut.

Si,

Some Range Rovers with the LT95 box have a really small hand brake drum fitted, mine isn't that small. Is the setup the other chap is working on for the small drum.?

Yup.

It is the gearbox that is all one casting, including the transfer box.

It has just struck me that perhaps the speedo housings are interchangable, which may mean that a standard drum (or a certain disk handbrake) would fit!

Sounds like you might be in luck! PCD is 119mm and the hole in the middle is 98mm diameter.
