Les Henson Posted October 23, 2005 Share Posted October 23, 2005 I think S3 has a groove cut around the ball so that an o-ring can be fitted to make gearchanges quieter/smoother. As far as I know that's all. They are all interchangeable. Left and right hand drive are different part number, and 6-cylinder gear lever is different.
