V8 Freak
A friend, sometimes on here as Bogstandard, known to some as Rupert who accompanied my on 30th December outing last year, has an SJ 410 he uses around his farm for things like slug pelleting. After a few years of running around with no brakes, one of his swivel joints at the front totally caved in. He bought a set of axles for £60 and installed. (Still not bothered to hook up brakes !) One of the swivel joints has some play in the replacement axle and we cannot locate anyone selling kits or parts new.... Anyone got any suggestions or know of any good people to call ? Thanks in advance.. Neil
Les Henson
The last time I worked on the swivels of a Zook it was main dealer parts only and predictably expensive. Just the wheel/swivel pin bearings and seals came to nearly £200. You might try the more popular parts suppliers such a Camberley Auto Factors or even www.bearingboys.com Les.
