WATERPROOF JUNCTION BOX

MPS4X4

Recommended Posts

I am fitting some Lightforce lamps to my Hannibal rack and was going to run feed up to a junction box fitted to the underside of the rack. Anyone know of any small preferably black junction boxes available. I was going to use the Rubberlite one but if possible get something a bit smaller.

Thanks in advance..............Simon

You took your time getting here Simon, welcome.

I use Durite plugs for my lights on my rack. Easy to unplug when you want to remove the rack.

The G4 Land Rovers use Durite plugs on their Warn roof lights.

They come in 2 and or 3 terminal male to female plugs and appear to be waterproof, at least when used on a roof and not submerged.

The Econoseal range is also what Land Rover use on the lamp holders for NAS lights, Disco Bumper lights, Freelander Lights, and the later Defender lights (ie with lamp holders rather than a lead coming from the light fitting)

just thought someone might like to know. ;)

Cheers

Mark
