Recommended Posts

hello

anybody have one of these winches fitted as seen on ebay, feed back required either good or bad :(:(

This is the same winch that is supplied by Ryders of Liverpool (only cheaper!):

I've got one on my 110, 1st outing it seized when I was stuck in 3 foot of mud cos there was a behr (Sp?) on the freespool which was catching (which Ryders promptly replaced). It is a good winch by all accounts, but mine hasnt seen too much use recently..

The winch you are looking at is the same as a T- Max, I had one fitted and it did the job very well, they are not the fastest winches out there, but will get you out of a hole

the only thing you have to bare in mind is that the braking system is inside the drum where the wire goes, on lowering yourself down a hill and using the winch to brake it heats the drum up that much it can and does melt plasma rope or equivalent.

So if you are not bothered about using steel winch line it will do just fine.

this guy in Germany sells loads of them and they come with a wireless remote control, keep in mind its about £50 for delivery.
