freelander stereo

hi all

i have got a freelander 2.0 di on a t reg the stereo is working fine, but i havent got a code for it,

is there anywhere i can get this code from in case my batterey dies or it requests the code.

also what make stereo is it my cd changer is phillips, but it just says land rover on the stereo, r770.

ooops sorry common sense just kicked in if its a phillips cd changer as standard then there not going to use a kenwood head unit. so its a phillips head unit.

Try the stealers! I got mine from there for an 02 model - it just came up on the computer when they put the reg in.

Dealership, using the VIN number and you will probably need proof of ownership

I too have an 02 plate freelander and the dealers said that there is no code for this vehicle...I phoned up the local Rover place and gave the reg and they looked it up without any of the questions...give them a ring it is the simplest answer.

well i got my code off the interenet for free at the below address, just in case any one else needs it. all you have to do is register (free) then post the serial number off your radio, they also do other radios ford, vaux, etc.
