All I want to do is drain and refil the auto transmission oil in a series 2 discovery and I can find no conventional level plug or dip stick.!! Is it me or has Mr land Rover decided to make it difficult? There is a drain plug on the sump and a blanking bung in the side of the sump where a dip stick tube would normally fit.
