MINESAPINT
use the resources of this forum to establish who is currently offering the best prices on tyres, shocks, wheels etc? If anyone notices a particularly good deal would it be ok to promulgate it here for the general benefit of other forum users? Litch
I think the trouble with that is that you have to be SURE you are comparing like for like and not just similar items of different manufacture. As we all know you can get genuine spares, OE or pattern and when it comes to the latter there are many different levels of quality (look at TRE's for instance). To ensure a genuine comparrison you have to make sure you are comparing brand to brand. Also, in my experience when I have been ringing around comparing like for like on popular items (De Carbon shocks and my ZU rims for instance) I have found that most places charge a similar amount for the product and it has actually been the P&P & delivery timescale that has been the deciding factor. MINESAPINT
Thanks Litch, Fair point. The reason for my question is that I do not want to upset anyone. So just as a matter of interest is a price of £64 OK for Insa Turbo Special Track 265 75 16 fitted? Thanks MINESAPINT
Milemarker Type S
So just as a matter of interest is a price of £64 OK for Insa Turbo Special Track 265 75 16 fitted? In a word... yes. The best I have seen is £260 for a set of 4 delivered- i.e £65 a tyre which you would then have to pay extra to get fitted... Shrek

Milemarker Type S
Basically used to describe a part that is designed and produced to the same specification as laid down by the original vehicle manufacturer- its doesn't mean that they actually make it though.
