JonJon Posted February 25, 2008 Share Posted February 25, 2008 Can anyone recommend a good 1-day course/event (preferably in the SW) as an introductory session for driving LR's off-road? I want to treat my wife to a day (or half day?) 'play' just to experience what they can do, to learn some techniques and improve her 'kinetic envelope' (I made that up) and to give a bit more confidence when having to bash around the place with trailers and tractors, cows, straw and fields getting in the way!? alanjonesbath Posted February 26, 2008 Share Posted February 26, 2008 I'd recommend the folks at Whitecliff 4x4 (http://www.whitecliff4x4.co.uk/), I went for their 1 day course and thought it was great value for money and a very good introduction to off-road driving (and they use LR's). I think Southern Africa was a bit further than Jon was planning to go for the 1/2 day. 4x4adventures.co.uk might be a bit more local....
