LandyManLuke
Just beware if you buy an unknown brand from an unknown boxmover, you could come unstuck when (rather than if) it comes to spare/replacement parts availability and service. Pays yer money, takes yer choice etc etc.

Will
I've not used one of these myself, but it appears that the live plug is uninsulated on that machine and I belive that this operates at a fairly high voltage, I have heard reports of this giving nasty shocks, easily modified with insulating tape, but something to be aware of. Sorry I don't know any more about these machine. Will
LandyManLuke
ask on mig-welding.co.uk, there's probably someone on there who's tried one.
willfromsussex
i've got some no-name cheapo plasma, wow, one of the best gadgets ever invented. I bought it used for £250 after I was offered a try of it first, but I think an equivalent machine would be only £300 or so now, amazingly cheap. If it broke, i would go and buy another plasma straight away. Cutting big holes curves and slots is suddenly a pleasure not a chore. I just can't believe how well these things work. Cuts up to 10mm and a neat precise line with very little heat.
