Plasma cutters

I've not used one of these myself, but it appears that the live plug is uninsulated on that machine and I belive that this operates at a fairly high voltage, I have heard reports of this giving nasty shocks, easily modified with insulating tape, but something to be aware of. Sorry I don't know any more about these machine.

i've got some no-name cheapo plasma, wow, one of the best gadgets ever invented. I bought it used for £250 after I was offered a try of it first, but I think an equivalent machine would be only £300 or so now, amazingly cheap. If it broke, i would go and buy another plasma straight away. Cutting big holes curves and slots is suddenly a pleasure not a chore. I just can't believe how well these things work. Cuts up to 10mm and a neat precise line with very little heat.
