mmgemini
Can anybody give me some idea of the price of alli sheet. I'm after a piece 4ft X 2ft. I'm not so sure on the price I've been quoted. mike
LandyManLuke
last time i got a quote i think it was in the region of 30-35 quid for 1.6mm x 1m x 2m, that was a while ago though.

mmgemini
Thank you Steve. Delivery makes it expensive.. I was quoted £55 plus VAT for a 4' X 2' sheet. mike

I use a local engineering firm for all my ali sheet, and for something double that size i pay about £100 all in, thats for 2mm NS4 - the trick is to go down and look for "offcuts", they generally go cheaper, or find one with a bent corner or a scratch meaning it cant be used for their normal work.
