tedsmart
Hi all, Are JATE rings/hitches good enough for snatching a vehicle out of soft sand? Cheers ted
mike4444244
Hi Provided they are decent quality ones, and fitted properly, and your chassis is in good nick then jate rings should be up to it. You can use a bridle to spread the load between both of them but dont go linking everything with shackles! Mike
Mark
Could I rephrase that to 'should use a bridle'.... Mark
western
Genuine LR jate rings are definitly upto the job, But must be used in pairs with a bridle & rated shackles [suggest 4.75tonne shackles as a minimum rating]rigged like this [when I use my KERR & bridle I always rig it as per the diagram, never had any problems]
