jimfoo
Last minute, I got my engine together for a Series off road trip. The plan was 4 days, all off road, camping along the way. It was hot, but very fun. We had a few minor problems along the way, 1 broken halfshaft, 1 broken spring pack bolt which caused the front propshaft to separate several times until we found the cause, 1 broken shackle bolt and 1 bent rim, which application of a BFH soon fixed. We covered 150 miles of trail, mostly easy, but there were some challenging parts along the way. I have a ton of pics, so I won't post them here, but you can see them here if interested. We had a 86" Ser I, a Ser II 88", 2 IIA 88" and a IIA 109", and an LR owners son in a J**p.

I think it must have been the displeasure of the Rover gods.

Though Blighty is blessed with an over abundance of Landrovers of all shapes and sizes... most of them (including mine) don't get to see scenery of that caliber!
