frrfrr Posted June 1, 2008 Share Posted June 1, 2008 hi there , i have a rrc soft dash that has been converted to coils i am wondering what parts of the air suspention components i can take of the car ? i am looking to convert to lpg with under slung tanks and would need the space that the air sus takes up does taking any of the components cause any problems with the engine ecu etc ? the car is a 94 3.9 auto thanks fraser Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Jon White Posted June 1, 2008 Share Posted June 1, 2008 If its already on coils you can take the lot off. It'll cause no problems. If you lose the air reservoir and the compressor/valve block from under the sills it ought to give you the room you need for the LPG kit. SteveRK Posted June 1, 2008 Share Posted June 1, 2008 Go for it but be prepared for a long arduous slog to remove the various bolts holding the tank and pump unit. Mine had previously been converted so i have removed these items plus all the associated air tubing, suspension sensors, ECU (under driver's seat) and miles and miles of wiring.
