draper40
Hey, I'm looking for somewhere to overhaul my warn winch as it is in need of some attention. Anybody got any recommendations/approx prices as I may be wrong but it seems quite hard to do your self. Pete
bishbosh
Either David Bowyer, or Phil at PG winches. Both are excellent and know their onions. Unfortunately for you, they are both in the South West.
draper40
Would ideally like somewhere within an hourish but prepared to travel a little further for great cost/quality. Pete
Godlykepower
I would send it to one of the top names that the guys recommend Pete. The cost of a courier there & back probably wouldn't be too much more than your Diesel bill would be nowadays! Mart
draper40
Anybody have any ideas on a courier cost and/or overhaul cost? Pete
Godlykepower
No idea of overhaul costs as I dont own a winch. Try Parcelforce. You can book online, and work out the cost if you know the exact weight of the parcel & the postcodes to & from. draper40
looks like they want about £50 to down south!
Godlykepower
Try searching for other couriers Pete, that was the first one I could think of. There might be others that are cheaper? Also try the company you choose to have the overhaul done with. They probably use couriers quite regularly, and will get it down there for you for the best price.
