Guppy
What a glorious morning! The sun was shining... ...the birds were singing... ...Boston's 'More than a feeling' on the radio... ...and it looked like i'd be at work on time for once... ...Twang! Throttle cable gives up on a roundabout. Luckily I had enough intertia to coast to a stop in a carpark. I left the Landie there and cadged a lift to work. Double luckily - My local garage has one and i'll pick it up on the way home. I'd like to know if it's a job worth attempting myself (I keep my tools in the truck for such 'eventualities') or let the AA bods do it? Guppy
Wow. Looks like some ingenious engineering going on there. Love it!
Mo Murphy
It's quite a simple mechanical task guppy, well within the realms of even a complete beginner Go on, no point in having the tools in there if you don't use them Have fun Mo
sheeppimp
definitely doable - I 'fixed' the cable on my old 110 n/a with baler twine once as a get me home. With a cable it should be fairly simple
