nas90 Posted January 11, 2006 Share Posted January 11, 2006 Land rover recovery for me. Came with the NAS when I bought it from Harwoods. Just renewed each year. Bit of a shock 2 years ago when it shot up from £75 to £140 per year. The one big plus point is that the cover is for Europe, if you use AA etc you have to take out extra cover when you go abroad (?). As I take the NAS across the channel at least twice per year this is a saving on time and aggravation. Excellent service, the one recovered trip from France was organised with immaculate precision, the London office having the mobile phone number of each recovery crew to ring them and check that I was being looked after! Exmoor Beast Posted January 11, 2006 Share Posted January 11, 2006 I was with the AA for years although only roadside, cancelled when we needed them and the chap they sent didn't have a 13mm socket or spanner. Full cover with RAC now, used them to get the P38 to Devon4x4 after I snapped the gear linkage being heavy handed and driving it with no clutch. They did manage to send the truck to entirely the wrong place, after 2 hours waiting I went to look for them and flagged down a lost looking flatbed driver Will Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
