henk
Friend of mine came tonight to have a look at his 2001 Disco TD5. It was not running smoothly. Nanocom reading gave 2 errors: 27-01 Injector 1 peack charge long LOGGED and 31-01 Injector 1 open circuit LOGGED A check of the injectors gave an connection problem on all 5 After a reset of the errors, engine ran smoothly for about 2 minutes so we stopped. When he then left about 30 min later, problem re-appeared ! Question: What do these faults exactly mean? What can we do to solve the problem? GBMUD
Is there any oil present in the loom at the ECU? Chris
henk
Is there any oil present in the loom at the ECU?Chris A small bit only he confirmed what he cleaned so I suggested him already to get a new harness
BogMonster
IIRC the "peak charge long" is normally oil in the injector harness but can be the ECU, change the harness first as its a tenth of the price!
