Shackleton Posted August 22, 2008 Share Posted August 22, 2008 Thought in the interests of research and the greater good I'd let you know that Td5 to early 2 dr RRC works long term. Ive covered about 10k miles on the continent and the worst that happened was the nuts that hold the downpipe to the turbo came loose (i distinctly remember torquing them up properly but maybe by that stage my wrench needed calibration). Two literally fell off and the third was on it's way when I caught it just before crossing the Alps. I definately need taller wheels and ideally a GKN but other then that as I was telling Vinny, I ended up towing others on 3 different occaisions - including a Hymer Hope alls well here...
