andyb
Blue stuff.....I think you mean Blue Hylomar Supporting LR for front axle swap. On the chassis just as it goes from the curve to the horizontal by the front radius arm mounts. When I change a front axle I support here and the axle as well, so 4 stands in total. Dunno any specifics regarding V8 swap. And not familiar with LPG. HTH

FridgeFreezer
how much work is it swapping 3.5 to a 4.6 ? -i need it to still run on lpg That depends on quite a lot really - are we talking: Swapping the 3.9 for the 4.6 complete with its full EFI system Swapping the 3.9 for the 4.6 but retaining the 3.9 EFI system Swapping the 3.9 for the 4.6 and running carbs (yeuck) Is the LPG setup a "dumb" mixer type or a sequential system? FridgeFreezer
So do I take it you don't have the FI setup from the 4.6? Do you have all the hardware on the engine? Biggest bang for your buck fuel/spark wise is going to be MS'n'EDIS. Have a read of Nige's thread ion the Tools'n'Fab forum.

At the moment i have no 4.6, it was just an idea that i had a few weeks back. Ive had a look at megasquirt & edis - dont really understand it but i get the jist. So im still looking to give it more grunt and power! cheers
FridgeFreezer
Just going FI on the 3.5 will give it a bit more get up and go, 3.9's are cheap enough whereas I think 4.6's are still proper money.
