fender1234
it takes ATF or if you have a seach there are other types of oil recomended. there is a little square plug on the side of the box 13mm spanner to undo it. hope this helps
Badger90
do you roughly know which side and how far it ment to be up the casing.. i just looked and all i found was a bango fitting with a pipe about half way up and a earth wire?cheers
western
LT77 oil needs to be ATF or MTF94 7 the Transfer box LT230 has EP90, main gearbox fill/level is on the righthand side of the casing directly above the area where the serial number is stamped, the transfer box fill/level is on the rear face just to the left of the transmission brake drum. Badger90
ohhh soo when you fill the gearbox up it allso fills the extension housing up? i was looking for a seperate plug for the extension house... is that right?
western
Yes the extension housing is part of the main gearbox & uses the same oil. the rearmost casing that the front & rear propshafts connect to is the transferbox & is filled as explianed above.
