-xLr8r- Posted December 14, 2008 Share Posted December 14, 2008 yeah like you say Snagger, i can see the reversed ackerman angle just turning it lock to lock. but i'll have to see how much of an issue that is when i drive it. here's a closer look at the joined track rod castor angle is 6 degrees now, track rod has plenty of clearance from the springs. The standard SIII and Defender castor angle is 3o, if I'm not mistaken, so you should have strong self centring and plenty of directional satbility, but slow speed cornering may be heavy at the steering wheel. Sorry about the sloppy typing on my previous post. I love that link, Hoggy - scary and hilarious at the same time.
