BogMonster
Buy an "OEM" one from somebody like Bearmach these are the same as genuine but without the expensive green and white box. Likely to be about half the price. AFAIK there isn't a "better" one - not sure if anybody has tried making a Polybush one or not!
freeagent
the proper OEM part should have the initials GKN moulded into it....
Oli Agust
I am on my third coupling in three years. I can say for sure that the one I bought from Britpart lasted about two months! Im about to put the fourth in, and it comes in a green and white box! I should mention that my car has a 2 inch lift and that is without a doubt the reason I need to change this so often. muddychris300tdi
Hi i have the same proplem on my disco and i have a 3inch lift. The only solution is to get a 200tdi prop and change the diff flange. Chris

VDB
Hi guys, My first post on this forum, I had similar experience with coupling breaking up (non gen from Rimmer). I later learned that there is a right and a wrong way of putting them on, but for the life of me can't remember which way it is. I know that there are small arrows on the side of the coupling but as i say can't remember if they face forward or rear. Double check before removal of offending item. Hope this is of some use. Cheers VDB
