The Homba
Hi , Would the water pump on a 200 TDI be strong enough to pump to the rear of a 110 ? or would if fail for pumping that far as i was thinking of putting an extra heater in the back. Cheers Iain
western
doubt the pump would notice any difference, only thing is you would loose heat via the pipes from engine to rear of vehicle, probaly be better off with a air blown heater like Eberspacher or Webasto themotop. The Homba
Thanks western i have a Eberspacher but it has stoped working . i have a complete rear heater unit from a ford galaxy just thought it would be an easy fit if the pump could handle it. Thanks again
Lars L
I have an extra heater placed behind the bulkhead in my HT. Connected in series so the water first goes to the standard heater, then from the outlet to the extra and back to the engine. Works a treat and is mostly so effective that the rear heater can't be on for any length of time. It comes from a Landcruiser and has its own two-speed fan.
