bobling noise help

hi i seam to have aloud knocking noise coming from the rear of my 98 freelander it happens when turing shap corners and even turing at juctions i have noticed it has also stated happing when accerlating and slowing now any idears please quick responces would be helpful so i know if it going to cause more damage thanks

Early Freelanders have weak diffs, which are/were prone to bearing failure. Check for leaks, play where the drive shafts exit the diff, the drive flange on the diff nose, and the the mounting on the drivers side of the diff nose.
