foggy3061 Posted March 26, 2009 Share Posted March 26, 2009 You may get more transmission noise and vibrations as the SMF cannot remove the vibrations that DMF can. The SMF is often lighter than the DMF too which may allow the vehicle to rev a little quicker. The clutch may become slightly grabby at the biting point as the dual mass takes out some of the shock loading when the clutch is released.
