Thats not bad if it gets you up and running. I would have thought a Steve Parker one would be good bit of kit but ive never had a look at one. -

I made up this section to avoid the 2.5d/2.5td/200tdi type engine mount on the 300tdi in mine: http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=64756&p=800537 -

TDI 300 + R380 in a serie 3 _ 88"
foggy3061 replied to Muttland's topic in Defender Forum (1983 - 2016)
That's not the case with the Keith Got bell housings. I bought mine from him before ashcroft were producing the reproduction kit. It was a right faff finding all the genuine parts separately. -

Available through Keith Gott too but i think those are the only 2 places to buy them lately. Not sure if all parts still do the kits. http://www.keithgott.co.uk/parts_special_offers.html 5th row down. EDIT: shop4autopartsuk have the bell housings and pinions listed on ebay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAND-ROVER-DEFENDER-BELL-HOUSING-SHORT-R380-RETRO-FIT-/390306382054?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5ae012c0e6 -
The solution i used was to replace the first 90 degree bend below the turbo with two 45 degree bends, to achieve this effect:

Here you go (bit late now) this is one of the 2.8tgv engine's vnt turbo: Garrett Honeywell 724652-5001S NE24222Z GT22V

I'd go for some of the Gwyn Lewis rear trailing arms - extremely strong and very reasonable price (slightly cheaper if bought from his ebay shop)! http://www.gwynlewis4x4.co.uk/page6.html http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Land-Rover-Heavy-Duty-Rear-Trailing-Arms-gwynlewis4x4-challenge-suspension-/180750255786?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2a158e06aa

The links to all the info (as I mentioned above):

No can do, its fitted to a vehicle now so it won't be coming off again. Besides, the CAD drawing tells you all the info you need. See page 2.

There certainly are some good lanes, not too far from you either. Have a look at my post in this thread (post 5), there are links to all the green lane maps and lane info: http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=76332

They should be just fine! Gwyn Lewis gear is very good equipment and plenty of people use his products. Its well made, durable kit, money well spent!
