bernie Posted June 15, 2009 Share Posted June 15, 2009 I have a 300 tdi 110, one of the long bolts which go into the engine block at the base of the waterpump has sheared off, can i get away with forgetting this bolt, and put pump back on, or replace, which means alot more work stripping it all down. bernie Posted June 15, 2009 Author Share Posted June 15, 2009 Once i removed the alloy bit behind the pump, broken bolt came out easily, bolt was corroded to alloy bit behind pump, whats the name for the alloy bit that the pump is bolted to.
