CURLY
i just looked under the bonnet of my 2.5td 110, and there was smoke and a bit of oil chuffing out of the middle nut holding the rocker cover down?? oil and water were both fine and clean, and after it had cooled down, it wasn't smoking of chuffing!?!? i checked the rocker cover breather and that was flowing freely. anyone got any ideas what that could be? Cheers, CURLY

Cheers, CURLY Is the bolt tight? It may just need doing up a little... Can;t remember if there is a gasket on these - i think there is - that may need replacing. CURLY
bolt is nice and tight, but there's no gasket. maybe i could put an o-ring on it or a fibre washer??
pist0nbr0ke
There is suppose to be a rubber washer (same material a the gasket) in there. If your missing them that be why. Cheers Neil

western
there should be one of these 273069 washer sealing under each of the 3 dome nuts, no rubber seals shown in my 110 1987 on parts book for it.

I put a rubber washer under it from a drain cock.. Seems to have done the trick for now! Maybe I'll invest £0.14p for a proper one when this one packs up.. LOL!
