steve_r2
Hi all, Has anyone used/using Nitto Dune Grapplers at all and if so what do you reckon to them ? This is probably aimed more for those who live in sandy areas but any thoughts on the matter would be appreciated. Also and I know this has been asked before but what would be a sensible size to use on Disco II with a 2" lift used as a daily driver. BogMonster
Whereabouts are you? I've never seen Nittos advertised by UK suppliers so I doubt whether many people will have used them as I don't think they are widely available in the UK. Assuming with sand you are looking for some width, I would think either 255/70R16 or 265/75R16 would be a good bet, not really sure whether you will get more than that on with a 2in lift (255s will fit on a standard D2 - I have BFG ATs on mine). If you can go bigger, then 285/75R16 might be worth a try. Be warned that anything bigger than 255/70R16 won't fit on the rear door spare wheel carrier as the tyre will hit the bumper - however there is an aftermarket one available to allow bigger tyres to be fitted. steve_r2
Hi BM, I live out in Dubai these days hence the need for a more sand orientated tire. I presently have Bridgestone Dueler Hp's fitted though not too happy with them in offroad performance.
