Typsey
Just about to change the little beauty for the first time, and would like to know if there is a knack to it, any secret ways of doing it or is it as straight forward as it seems? Do a drawing of the pulleys with the belt going around them, that way you know which way around it goes, should you get distracted during installation. BogMonster
The knack is to make sure you don't have your fingers anywhere painful when you let the spanner go to put tension back on
West4x4
Get an assitant to hold tennsioner off the belt. Makes it alot lot easier
freeagent
yep, easier with two people, should only take 5 mins, get a mate to hold the spanner/ breaker bar on the tensioner to hold it out the way.....
Typsey
Mission accomplished, only one scraped knuckle! Didn't have anyone to help so had to fiddle around a bit with the tensioner and the belt, but managed it okay. Thanks for the advice and reassurance!
