Well it's not new, I pulled it out of a 77,000 mile P38 last week, started pulling it apart yesterday to find some VERY clear honing marks on the bores (no change between where the rings are running and at the top/bottom of the bores where they don't). Quite pleased.

Degreasing the front today I find a sticker/plate attached with the above info on it -seems like the already low mileage vehicle (relatively to age -1995) had a new lump at some point -but who knows when  :unsure:

Suffice to say I am a very very happy bunny, especially considering I only paid around the same as it would have cost me to get a re-bore and the heads skimmed ;)
