TheRecklessEngineer
No it isn't an MOT requirement, so you can remove it. I missed mine on-road though and ended up refitting it...
bobtail4x4
My 200 has roll bars. it leans a lot more without them, I used towball spacers to drop it under the tankguard.
gripper
my 300 has a broken joint on one end of the rear roll bar and i'm planning to remove it for the mot until i get round to getting a new ball joint. i have read somewhere that you'd need to remove the brackets so the tester wouldn't see it had on fitted or it would fail, is this wrong? teabag
A standard front with an anti-roll bar and a rear without could give you some handling problems, it certainly would on a normal car.
