need4speed
When using a 4.6 crank in a 3.9 block and 3.9 non-serp ancilleries, i understand that i need some kind of spacer on the crank snout in order to fit my pulley as the crank is 20mm or so longer that the 3.9 crank. Ive looke don net and cant find anyone that appears to stock it. Anyone know where i can get this spacer?
Bowie69
Real Steel will have one for sure, as will JED, DJEV8 etc, all the specialist tuning companies will stock it, they are most commonly used when fitting the older timing cover and front end to a serp block. What is it you are doing BTW? With the 4.6 crank in a 3.9 block you'll need the machine the main crank bearings as they are larger than the 3.9 stock ones... Hope that helps
