JST
my only thought on it smoking more since changing the air and fuel filter is that before the fuel ne was so old? blocked? that it limited the fuel flow. maybe the pump was tweaked to overcome this (eg fueling increased) so therfore needs turnng back down. never heard it happening after a simple fuel/air filter change though. dont see that changing the oil filter etc will stop it smoking. Paul Humphreys
dont see that changing the oil filter etc will stop it smoking. I know that, just working my way through serviceing it. Just thinkinh a loud if anything else is going to go wrong! The Air filter was not the same brand, but was the same type. The old was not that dirty, but I think it is over fuelling now. I will try it today ands if its still bad its going in to be looked at. Paul
JST
i think the fuel filter was the issue not the old or new air filter as its now running rich would indicate more fuel.
