fozsug Posted April 29, 2010 Share Posted April 29, 2010 Would be gratefull for the part no for wading plugs for 300tdi timing cover and R380 manual gearbox bell housing, just taken off timing cover and seen the mess in there from not having one fitted, and the same when i split the gearbox of! errol209 Posted April 30, 2010 Share Posted April 30, 2010 I modded mine a little, so I didn't have keep finding a spanner, by welding an M12 washer edge-on to the head of each plug. Bit of paint (bellhousing and timing cover are different threads on mine, so white plug at the front, red at the back) and voila, no spanner, and they are hard to lose too!
