dixe Posted May 27, 2010 Share Posted May 27, 2010 I have just bought a set of britparts brake adjusters and when I fitted them as per the instructions. I found that they do not adjust the brake shoes. I have a long wheel base series III. According to the instructions the spring should go outside of the backing plate but then the bolt is not long enough so the adjuster does not touch the pin to adjust the brake. any advice would be appreciated. A load of the washers mentioned in the instructions were missing in mine. Might be worth chasing up with the supplier to check the correct parts have been supplied.
