Jinx Reyneke
I have a 96 defender 130 with the older type of dash. I'm quite keen to upgrade the center part of the dash with the consol that houses radio, aircon etc. Is this a huge job with a lot of cutting slicing and dicing? Or is it quite a straight forward job? Appreciate it if somebody has attempted to do this and could share what the pitfalls are before I actually try doing it
Retroanaconda
Have a look here: http://www.reedx.net/landrover/mods/2002dash/index.htm Alternatively there's the Mud Console from Mudstuff which gives a similar sort of look, but you can choose where things go. Jinx Reyneke
Thanks very much that was very helpful. Looks good. One wonders why Landy took so long to change a bit.
Snagger
I used a Mud centre console to very good effect, smartly and securely housing a stereo, CB radio, seven auxiliary switches, two gauges, two cigarette lighter sockets and a warning light.
