DiscoGlover
i have a diesel tank off my 300tdi discovery and im wondering wether i could use it for when i put the V8 in. if so how much cleaning do i have to do cheers
Dave W
Just empty as much as you can out of it then fill it to the top with petrol, any remaining diesel will be so diluted by the petrol you won't notice it. Obviously you'll also need to change the pump and fuel feed setup to suit the V8 but the pumps are interchangeable.
DiscoGlover
cool, so that couple with a bit of petrol swiling and draining whilst its off the truck will do forgot to mention i ran it with a bit of used veg oil, which furthers my concern for a dirty tank
gripper
veg and bio tends to clean the fuel system out so it should be cleaner than with just diesel
