landrover598 Posted May 24, 2006 Share Posted May 24, 2006 I've heard you can fit an extended breather to the timing case Where do i connect my breather pipe to my 200tdi disco engine timing case ? Any other breathers i need to extend ? western Posted May 24, 2006 Share Posted May 24, 2006 On the engines front right of the timing case, [your left as you look at the engine] see picture below, it's the access plate for checking the pump timing, should have 3 bolts holding it on. landrover598 Posted May 24, 2006 Author Share Posted May 24, 2006 Just been to check mine as i'm sure it doesn't look like that, and i was right Mine's got a cast disk with a round shaft sticking out of it by about an inch Can i replace this with just a flat plate ? western Posted May 24, 2006 Share Posted May 24, 2006 That's that solved then maybe your engine came from a air con fitted Discovery. EPC shows 3 x FS106101L flange head bolts @ M6x10 thread not M8 they sound to big -- but could be 300TDi parts. cover plate is ERR25 the number DJ gave is for a 300Tdi but is most likely the only available part now. gasket is ERR635.
