bushwhacker
Hi,guys I have a problem with the steering on the road, well at speeds of 40+. In that it is vague ie having to always steer even on a straight road, sort of like what a series would be. I think it may be the steering box and not the pump. Can someone keep me right please. Gromit
If the pump was dying, you'd just loose assistance. I'd go for play in the actual steering, from the column to the box (which can be adjusted), or radius/panhard bushes
bushwhacker
Ah the plot thickens. Is that the adjuster on top of the box, locknut and screw. It needs adjusted with the wheels in the air (I think). But I will investigate it further. Thanks Edited July 21, 2010 by western

Your best bet though, is to find where the play is first, by having an assistant wiggle the wheel. Edited July 21, 2010 by western
