dantd5
NRC7636 INDICATOR SELF CANCEL RING The ring on my steering has snapped. I am just wondering if it is positoned vertical or horizontal. I just bought a new one and very uncertain how it should be placed. NB - It's function is to return the trafficator back to original position. Gromit
It's been a while since I had one apart, but there are 2 lugs that engage with the steering wheel to hold it in the correct position.
dantd5
Gromit, is this ring supposed to be placed in a horizontal position or vertical lock position?
western
Needs fitting with the 2 fingers vertical the cancel ring on the steering column -- ensure the recess are vertical & the lug with the arrow points to the left [this bit from RAVE workshop manual, Section 57, Steering, repair, page 3, para 44]
