yella 90
there is another way of doing it by using the kill switch to kill the earths not the live that way you can use one isolator switch wont the winch then use the chassis as its ground, providing that it has a good contact ? ive allways woundered about doing it that way to stop isolators naffing up, just is ive never actually got around to trying it
LandyManLuke
there is another way of doing it by using the kill switch to kill the earths not the live that way you can use one isolator switch You can put an isolator in the earth leads to the batteries, but that still means its got to be rated to take the current of all the winches. Nobbymogs
ok will put it another way we are running 2 gigglepin GP82's with 24 through 12 on bow 2's and also a TDS as a centre winch with the earths through the kill switch and it works fine for us
MrKev
I don't understand. Assuming your winch motors are isolated from the body / chassis and therefore all the current is flowing in your wiring, not through the structure: The same amount of current flows in the +ve wire from the batteries as does the -ve terminal.
