willfromsussex
the 72 Classic I'm building has 2 inch body lift, can I buy extended front and rear seat strengtheners anywhere or do I just fabricate something? I'd rather buy since these take the seatbelt loads so its a bit more proper to buy 'shop made' ones.
ThreeSheds
Wizardbilt about 1/2 way down the page I have no association with the above other than as a satisfied customer. edited: The links appear to be broken, but you can still find him on ebay - or better yet just call/email - he is a nice bloke and will do bespoke sizes if you want. BTW - read what you are getting when looking at lift kits on ebay - one listing, for example, says at the top: All the parts* are contained in this kit to raise your truck and then lower down: * The kit contains the spacers and bolts necessary to raise your body, but does not include body tie rods, radiator support pins or rear floor support spacers. willfromsussex
Received now. Look a bit home made (ordinary length of studding used instead of plain rod with threaded end) and clevis part painted rather than zinc plated etc but should look ok for a while at least.
