TOR4x4 Posted October 2, 2010 Share Posted October 2, 2010 I've fitted the later style V8 coils, as found on D2 and late P38's, does anybody know which pins feed which pair of leads. ie. does pin 1 feed the top 2 leads or vice versa? I've searched rave and it only seems to give the 3 wires to each coil and is not lead specific. Any help would be gratefully received. Dave W Posted October 2, 2010 Share Posted October 2, 2010 The coils are common to the centre pin, the outer two pins go to the coil drivers. The input pins control the pair of outputs nearest them so if pin 1 is at the top it will control the top two outputs and pin 3 will control the bottom 2 outputs.
