FridgeFreezer Posted December 13, 2010 Share Posted December 13, 2010 You shouldn't have two lambda readings unless you have two sensors, you might need to check your MegaTune configuration as you could be reading the wrong values. It needs to be set for the correct version of firmware your ECU is running. Unless you're running direct coil drive, the VR isn't connected to the MS anyway. With EDIS, you can be fairly sure if the thing starts then it's working. You can check the VR sensor for impedance and AC voltage output (when engine is turning or moving something metal toward & away) with a multimeter. If it's not firing up then no, your lambda sensors are not going to be warmed up, and until you're out of cold-start warmup (engine temp above the threshold in MegaTune) the ECU is not using the lambda sensor anyway. It needs to be set for the correct version of firmware your ECU is running. sorry, i probably wrote that wrong. when i mean 2 lambda readings - i'm referring to when i wish to change the gauges in megatune (there is a pageful of gauges that can be displayed - which one do i choose ?). i'm running a map from Nige so everything will be the same as everyone else on here G P.S.
