disco_al Posted October 15, 2010 Share Posted October 15, 2010 I have just been offered a 2001 TD4 Freebie for a bargain price, as the autobox is on it's way out. How much work would be involved with converting from auto to manual? Disco_Mikey Posted October 16, 2010 Share Posted October 16, 2010 They are not exactly common for breaking, but its also not unheard of. Just changed another one last week. Was slipping in 4th and 5th gears, then slammed itself into 4th and went into fault mode... Try draining a bit of oil.
