Aragorn
Defender R380 and Disco R380 are both the same length, the only difference is the defender box has the shifter in the right place.
rrover
Defender R380 and Disco R380 are both the same length, the only difference is the defender box has the shifter in the right place. they are not the same length. The Disco box has a longer input shaft and bell housing.
Aragorn
300TDI defender and 300TDI discovery R380 boxes have the same bellhousing (FTC3921) and inputshaft (FTC5046). They are the same length.
disco_al
300TDI defender and 300TDI discovery R380 boxes have the same bellhousing (FTC3921) and inputshaft (FTC5046). in that case, is it possible to use the defender gear shift housing with the disco box to put them in the right place?
